About Us:
The Light of Raphael (LoR) is a Registered Charity (IRDNo.91 / 10267) in Hong Kong, which provide charitable Chinese medical service to individuals and households with financial difficulty, founded by a group of Christian in 2009.
In September 2010, the "LoR" setup the "Light of Raphael’s Chinese Medicine Clinic" (the Clinic) in Chai Wan, provide Chinese Medicine services includes TCM outpatient services and acupuncture treatment.
In addition to the outpatient service for the public, the Clinic also undertakes multiple medical assistance scheme to support those underprivilege, including: the LOR Chinese Medicine Subsidy (CMS) Scheme, the LOR Poor Elderly Rehabilitation Voucher Scheme (ERV Scheme), "風雨同行" Stroke Prevention and Supportive Project Medical-Social Partnership Programme, etc. So as to provide a free of charge or subsidized medical assistance to the low-income families, elderly, disabled and the needs who are referred by registered social workers.
All operating income of the Clinic is used to subsidize those poor patients who need medical assistance that are referred by registered social workers. Therefore, while self-financed people receive medical services in the Clinic, they are also helping other poor patients to have an opportunity receive a treatment at the same time. The Clinic has been recognized and awarded by different social units for the charity works and serve our society, included: the "Community Caring Shop Recognition Scheme" for 2 consecutive years, and was honored with the "Outstanding Community Caring Shop Recognition Scheme (Grand Award)" by The Steering Committee on Promotion of Volunteer Service, Social Welfare Department, Government or HKSAR etc.

The Light of Raphael’s Chinese Medicine Clinic (the Clinic) opened in 2010, located at Chai Wan. The Clinic provide three CMP consultation areas and four acupuncture treatment areas. Our pharmacy provides more than 300 kinds of traditional Chinese medicines (scientific concentrated Chinese medicine graduals) produced by GMP pharmaceutical factories. So as to ensure the safety and quality level guaranteed. The Clinic is also computerized operation and use electronic medical record system which can keep patient medical records properly and safely.
In addition to general consultation services, the clinic provides a broad spectrum of Chinese Medicine specialty services covering internal medicine, dermatology, gynecology, pain management, oncology, orthopedics, acupuncture, etc..
