ELIGIBILITY:
PRACTICING, ASPIRING OR STUDENT social innovators and entrepreneurs wanting to make an impact on social or environmental problems.
Contestants can be individuals or teams of no more than 5 members.
Each contestant can enter for either or both sets of awards but may not submit two or more entries for any award.
Through the 5-day Symposium, 14 overseas speakers and 5 local speakers will discover the answer to:
‒ How you can personally become involved in discovering more innovative solutions to the problems of poverty, the environment, social or economic exclusion?
‒ Whether any alternative business and social models can generate better success in achieving greater social impact?
‒ How social enterprises can increase their social impact by scaling-up, replicating or franchising their activities?
‒ How corporations and social enterprises can engage in CSR-related projects that link with social enterprises to maximize the social impacts of their investments?
