About Us:

Common Cultures was established in 2020 as a Social Enterprise promoting the principle of "Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability" (LOHAS) and widening cultural senses. We encourage people tohave a health and sustainable life with cultural sense, through website, journals, workshops, handcraft classes, local tour, sales of products/books etc. In delivering our service, we employ ethnic minorities, women with needs, and other less privileged communities and showcase a cultural harmony.

Product and Service

 Handcraft can always make usual life interesting. Hence, the Common Cultures sells various handcraft products and organises related workshops so that participants can release daily pressure by focusing on artistic expression.
To promote a balanced life of mental and physical health, the Common Cultures organise various workshops, including. Mindfulness workshop teaching participants different techniques to appreciate silence in a busy and engaged life.
Common Cultures encourage intercultural experience. In 2024, we collaborated with a University to organise a Yau Ma Tei local tour for Nepalese culture, offering an opportunity to know the culture and livelihood of the ethnic minorities in Hong Kong
Common Cultures offers, through our online store, products meeting LOHAS principles or with social impact, including recycled products, heathy food/products, as well as merchandises from other Social Enterprises (such as hand-made soap from Hong Chi), etc.
