ACT Social Awareness Programme had worked together with the Office of Student Development (OSD), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Poly U) to organize 5 field visit programmes, comprising of 3 mid-night outreaching and 2 daytime visits theming on Social Outreaching and Global Awareness respectively, between the late January and the early February. Nearly 120 students the Project STARS 2016 of Poly U had participated in the field visits. We believe that the participating students were able to know about the Hong Kong society and the global issues in a different perspective, which is essential to their building-up of leadership visions, from our experiential learning programmes. In the meantime of the outreaching, the students were enabled to have a deeper exploration of the human relations and the global interconnectivities between themselves and the surrounding others.
