Corporate Social Staff Development Program - Build the Farm; Build the TEAM!
In mid-November, ACT organized a “Build the Farm” event for Gap Inc. with the SE farm – Natural Network @ Sheung Shui.
The deep commitments and efforts from Gap staffs not only make the event in big success, but also the personal learning, team building and capacity building are produced.
Experiential learning is provided for corporate staffs:
- Taste the beauty of teamwork
- Understand how could do better to protect our environment in person
- Experience how big task could be accomplished in very limited resources
With the concept of sustainability, the event could benefit different parties and build the corresponding awareness.
- Build infrastructures of the farm to sustain its educational mission
- Extend the social exposure of low income women who live nearby
- Encourage connection among the women, community and the SE farm
