Hong Chi Social Enterprise Office is dedicated to provide training opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities under various self-finance social enterprise projects since 1999. With the on-job training in these real business settings, trainees can explore their own interests, establish self-value and enhance their competiveness in the society. The general public can also interact with our trainees and thereby have a better understanding of their work abilities ultimately promote their chance of open employment.
To echo with The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s on-going support towards our supported employment projects and the experiences of Hong Chi Social Enterprises in running a café and coffee corner, a “Coffee Corner” has been established in October 2013. Apart from serving delicate breakfast, lunch, tea set menu and gourmet coffee to The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s staff and visitors, Coffee Corner also serves as an ideal catering training premise for our trainees with intellectual disabilities.
