Eldage is an online platform developed with an initial aim to promote local tradition and culture (both tangible and intangible) and encourage inter-generational communication (especially between people from the pre-internet era and digital age) through discovering people with craftsmanship, curating their stories of handicrafts, and co-creating communites with social engagement and mutual respect.
Operated as a social enterprise, Eldage was developed in 2016 by Hong Kong's leading digital marketing agency Fimmick, which has been recognised by significant awards for having demonstrated corporate social responsibility (CSR) and creating shared value (CSV) when starting up Eldage.
Eldage makes best use of digital platforms and O2O (Online to Offline) strategy to bring about financial returns and social impacts, by delivering workshops with local craftsmen, selling handicraft products and bringing innovative ideas into tradition.
