Established in 2008, the Mountaineering Council of Hong Kong is a non-government-funded association providing mountaineering training, consisting of professional mountaineering instructors, working with different schools and institutions to provide a wide range of professional and quality services.
Early in its establishment, the Association is committed to promoting mountaineering activities, regularly running mountaineering training courses at all levels for the public, schools, and social organizations, and the public and private sectors are also our targets. This has since been endorsed and supported by all parties for the introduction of more leadership training courses. At the same time to explore the elderly hiking activities, arrange for young people to give back to the community and the elderly to share the fun of hiking.
